500 Club (10/4)

Here we are again. Another Thursday and another opportunity to flex that creative muscle, release the muse, or just plain cut loose with the prose. Don’t take too long to think about it. Just pick a prompt and dive right in to see what happens when you get out of your own way.

Brief rule break:

  1. Write 500 words based on one of the two prompts below.
  2. Post it to your blog.
  3. Give us a small taste in the comments below along with a link to the full text.

On to the prompts.

1. Where Did I Leave That Prompt?: Ever forget why you walked into a room, where you parked your car, or why you needed to go to the store? Write 500 words with your character trying to remember something. Your call if it ever happens.

2. The Waiting Game: Waiting is never fun. It’s even harder to write about waiting and still keep your readers interested. Write 500 words involving waiting. And make it interesting.
