Best Writing Investment
I’ll keep this short and to the point. Here’s the best writing investment you will ever make:
That has its own set of problems. When I was younger, I thought I had all the time in the world to get to my writing career. So I took a day job.
Then I got married.
Then I had kids.
Then I had more kids.
Now I wonder where all this time went that I thought I was going to have. That’s right. I put it towards something else.
I don’t regret the decisions I’ve made. My family is my number one priority. What that means though, is that my writing time is vastly diminished. Someday it will change. The time will reappear. The trick will be to recognize the extra time and put it towards the writing and not anything else.
