This post is going to be short and…well…short. I’ve got my mommy-nurse hat on today, caring for my puking child.
Oh, were you eating? Sorry.
Since my last confession, I’ve:
- Sent three new stories out to find homes in literary journals
- Launched Liminal, a literary journal for teens*
- Redesigned my blog and Twitter page to match my website
- Redesigned this site (The Parking Lot Confessional)
- Finished this semester’s novel-writing class
- Received encouraging feedback on excerpts from my novel
- Networked with some amazing authors
My goals for this month are:
- Make the June deadline for my critique group
- Get my submission packet sent off to SCBWI for the LA conference this summer
- Decide which pieces will be in the inaugural issue of Liminal
- Write one more short story and get it into circulation
I don’t know how, but I trust it’s all going to get done. Somehow, it always does.
In the meantime, back to the puking.
